REGISTERED MASSAGE THERAPIST
Massage therapy is a comprehensive intervention involving a range of techniques to manipulate the soft tissues and joints of the body. The purpose of massage therapy is to prevent, develop, maintain, rehabilitate or augment physical function or relieve pain
CLINICAL HYPNOTHERAPY
Clinical Hypnotherapy is a natural, relaxing and self-directed therapy that taps into the powerful abilities of our own body and mind to heal and change. Hypnosis techniques are used to assist the individual to quiet the conscious brain (the thinking, talking part of our brain) and to relax the physical body. This facilitates access to the powerful, deeper subconscious mind, which makes up 90% of the human brain. With this access, individuals are empowered to make positive and lasting changes, in a wide range of areas.
MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES
A psychologist or mental health counsellor discusses with a person how they think, feel and behave. They have an unbiased viewpoint and apply their knowledge to help people understand, explain and change their behaviour.
OSTEOPATHY
Osteopathy is a gentle, non-invasive manual therapy that helps to restore your body’s optimal structure and function. Our bodies are working to heal all the time, but sometimes we need help. Using a combination of methods tailored to the needs of the patient, Manual Osteopaths assist our body’s innate ability to get better. Employing a unique and natural medicine for the treatment of injury and disease, Manual Osteopaths draw up a number of hands-on methods, including Joint Mobilization, Soft Tissue Therapy, Muscle Energy Techniques, Cranial Osteopathy, Visceral Manipulation and Somatic Release, according to your specific needs, to ease tension and reduce pain.
HEIKUNST HOMEOPATHY
Heilkunst (literally the art of making whole) is a complete remedial system developed by German Physician, Samuel Hahnemann, over 200 years ago. Hahnemann is also heralded for discovering homeopathy, the use of potentized remedies that cause certain symptoms in healthy individuals to treat patients who already exhibit similar symptoms.
LIVE BLOOD ANALYST
In live blood analysis, a drop of blood is taken from one’s fingertip and then examined under a high-powered darkfield microscope that is attached to a camera. This gives the analyst an opportunity to analyze the internal environment of the blood.
REGISTERED HOLISTIC NUTRITIONIST
Holistic Nutrition considers each person’s specific individualized needs as every person has their own strengths and weaknesses. It involves a complex analysis of the client’s diet while also considering digestive issues, low energy, the immune system and other general health concerns. Your practitioner will gather a complete summary of your chief complaints while also breaking down what you are missing from your daily regimen!
FAR INFRARED SAUNA
There has been much research by the medical communities in Japan and Sweden into the benefits and mechanisms of far infrared radiation on health.
The FIR sauna at Dynamis Health Centre was chosen specifically for the healing qualities of the range of far infrared radiation it produces.
REFLEXOLOGY
Every body part, system, gland, organ and function has its own reflex point in the feet. For any number of reasons, an area of the body may be suffering from tension,
congestion, or inflammation due to a build-up of residue or toxins in one or more vital areas of the body. By applying an alternating pressure, of the thumb and
sometimes fingers, to these specific reflex points, we can stimulate the approximately 7,000 nerve endings. Reflex points can also be found in other extremities such as the hands, ears, etc. Nevertheless, given the fact that our feet
have approximately 7,000 nerve endings, it provides an open pathway to healing, making them an ideal and favorable area to work on.
