Christine Northcott (Coady) graduated MacEwan University’s 2200 hr Massage Therapy Diploma Program in 2000 in Edmonton, Alberta.
During her time in Alberta she worked in a variety of settings for over eight years. Some of these settings included a massage therapy only clinic, a Chiropractic office as well as the multidisciplinary setting Millard Health Rehabilitation Center within the Workers Compensation Board of Alberta.
Since returning to Newfoundland in 2011 it was her vision to reconnect to her massage therapy work once her son and daughter became a little older. So in late 2017 she passed her exams for the College of Massage Therapists of Newfoundland and Labrador and returned to work as a Registered Massage Therapist. In early 2018 she joined Winterholme Wellness Center and has been happily treating clients there ever since.
Christine is now expanding her horizons and has joined the Dynamis Health team. From within Dynamis she will pursue her own massage therapy practice called “Connected Massage Therapy” and couldn’t be happier for this next step in her career.
Christine’s work and training continue to expand and grow each year which has in turn given her the skills to do in depth deep tissue work or utilize a lighter level of touch for relaxation massage. She has completed many continuing education courses which have included some favourites like cupping and pregnancy massage. Future courses of interest include guasha, myofascial treatments as well as aromatherapy and personal training.
